Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Providence, RI. This is a contract-to-hire role that involves evaluating and treating patients based on physician orders in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatment based on physician orders/referrals
• Complete comprehensive evaluations using appropriate tools and procedures
• Review patient records for current diagnosis, medical history, and any precautions
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans for patient independence and function
• Regularly reassess treatment plan effectiveness and patient progress
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and family members
• Consult with medical providers on patient evaluation and treatment
• Recommend and assist in securing adaptive equipment for patients
• Maintain and submit documentation as required by regulations
• Adhere to professional standards and state/federal laws
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides
• Participate in staff development programs and obtain continuing education

Requirements of the Physical Therapist

• Compact license in RI
• Experience with HCHB Homecare
• Experience in home exercise planning and Oasis
