Direct Staffing LLC is a high‐performance staffing agency specializing in delivering reliable workforce solutions across multiple industries. We are known for our operational excellence , compliance‐driven processes , and exceptional client service . We are expanding our recruiting team and seeking a Senior Recruiter who can lead full‐cycle hiring, drive sourcing strategy, and support continuous process improvement.
Position Summary
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers, sourcing high‐quality candidates, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. This role requires strong judgment, urgency, and the ability to work in a fast‐paced staffing environment.
Responsibilities
Recruit, interview, and onboard employees for warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, and general labor positions
Fill open job orders in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality candidates
Maintain strong communication with clients regarding staffing needs, attendance, and performance updates
Conduct employee check-ins, attendance follow-ups, and associate coaching
Assist with employee onboarding, I-9 documentation, E-Verify, and compliance procedures
Review timecards, punch corrections, and payroll-related issues with attention to detail
Respond quickly to call-offs, client requests, and staffing emergencies
Build and maintain recruiting pipelines through job boards, referrals, and outreach efforts
Support branch growth initiatives and help increase client satisfaction and retention
Maintain accurate notes, documentation, and communication within company systems
Take initiative in problem-solving and branch operations without constant supervision
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of staffing industry experience preferred
Experience recruiting for warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or light industrial positions
Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Leadership mindset with interest in long-term career growth
Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally for client visits, if needed
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
2+ years of full‐cycle recruiting experience (staffing agency strongly preferred).
Proven success sourcing and placing candidates in high‐volume environments.
Strong understanding of California labor laws , onboarding compliance, and documentation standards.
Experience using TempWorks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‐building skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities with urgency and accuracy.
