Registered Nurse Operating Room

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The nurse will work day shifts Monday through Friday. The schedule typically comprises four 10-hour shifts with rotating days off. Holiday rotation is required, and the nurse may need to be on call, up to one overnight per week and three weekends every 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating room procedures and a preference for experience in scrubbing. Patient ratios are expected to be 1:1, with an average caseload of 35-50 cases per day. Turnovers should be completed in less than 20 minutes. The facility operates 16 surgical rooms, with 12-14 typically in use. As a Level I trauma center, it provides services across various specialties, including cardiac, neurology, trauma, robotics, gynecology, urology, general, pediatrics, and transplants. The traveler may also be required to float across multiple campuses.

Must-have:

• Operating room experience
• Circulating experience required
• Scrub experience preferred
• Experience in general, robotics, pediatrics, and trauma required
• Experience in neurology, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, and vascular preferred
• EPIC electronic medical records experience within the last 3 years required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• No first-time travelers; completed travel assignment within the last 15 months required
