Production Supervisor

Kelly Engineering is seeking a Production Supervisor to join one of our leading clients within the Chemical/Composite Manufacturing industry focused on aerospace and defense at their Anaheim, CA location. Ideal Candidate Minimum 3-5 years industry experience in production/manufacturing environments as a supervisor (machine shop, fabrication, composites, finishing experience preferred). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and value chain Experience troubleshooting and resolving process/equipment issues in live production while minimizing cost and preventing delivery delays Experience implementing Lean Six Sigma and continuous-improvement initiatives Experience leading 5S/6S housekeeping, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) compliance, and root-cause analysis Compensation: $40.00 - $44.00/hr Position Overview The Shift Team Lead is responsible for ensuring performance to established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards and best practices through engagement and involvement of Production employees. This role involves supervising production employees and production lines while leading the continuous improvement process to optimize safety, quality, and productivity within defined manufacturing system and process limits. Understanding of manufacturing processes and value chain. Ability to understand key operational metrics and communicate across organizations to achieve clear alignment and focus. Knowledge of quality systems, including ISO9001/AS9100 requirements, preferred.
