Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking a motivated and flexible Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The role involves floating between units as needed and delivering quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care according to physician orders and established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor, record, and report patient status, ensuring accurate documentation in Cerner.
  
  
• 
  Float between Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, adapting to unit-specific needs.
  
  
• 
  Utilize standard med/surg/tele equipment and assist patients with mobility using Liko lifts.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with safety standards, medication administration, and hospital policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid, unrestricted Arizona RN license or a valid, participating compact license.
  
  
• 
  Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of current experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units.
  
  
• 
  Comfortable floating between units and working flexible shifts.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical skills with experience in acute care settings.
