Accounting Manager

LHH is partnering with an established manufacturing company in the East Valley to hire an Accounting Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, budgeting, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, payroll oversight, and fixed assets
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyze financial results and provide practical recommendations to improve performance and efficiency
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Maintain strong internal controls and improve accounting processes
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory reporting
• Oversee banking relationships and support cash management activities
• Manage accounting system access and financial reporting processes
• Lead, develop, and support a team of three accounting professionals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Previous supervisory or management experience
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, general ledger xhyhwjd accounting, and internal controls
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• ERP, financial reporting, payroll, and advanced Excel experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a hands-on environment
