Highlights Zero-Hour Physician to provide support for the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) at our Children's Hospital campus in Oak Lawn Our PCICU is a 16-bed unit that cares for pediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart disease, adults with congenital heart disease. The primary role will be to provide cardiac critical care services including management of various forms of mechanical circulatory support, collaborating with subspecialty partners and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities include resident and fellow education, specifically pediatric residents, and fellows in cardiology, critical care and neonatology. Clinical research opportunities are available and encouraged.
