Automotive Area Operations Manager - Remanufacturing (New Windsor NY)

Title Area Operations Manager – Reman Overview Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple wheel remanufacturing shop locations within a designated area, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Essential Functions Operational Excellence : Oversee daily operations, ensure efficiency, quality, and safety across all locations, resolve operational issues promptly, maintain high standards of cleanliness and environmental health and safety (EHS). Customer Service & Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations, represent Dent Wizard in customer meetings, promote a five-star customer service culture. Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and present proposals, collaborate with marketing team for lead generation and conversion, expand footprint by building relationships with dealerships, collision centers, and potential partners. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning : Drive recruitment and hiring for area roles with HR, identify staffing needs, support onboarding and integration of new hires. Leadership & Team Development : Foster a positive, inclusive, productive work environment, lead, coach, and develop team members, facilitate ongoing training and performance evaluations. Performance Monitoring & Reporting : Track and report KPIs related to productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction, implement continuous improvement initiatives. Administration : Coordinate supplies and parts ordering, troubleshoot critical operational issues, maintain compliance with EHS standards, ensure effective invoicing processes. Compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
