Healthcare Practice Operations Leader

The following position is for employment located in:San Diego, CAPOSITION PURPOSEThe Office Manager leads the overall Practice operations and drives outstanding patient care within assigned Location(s), including but not limited to the successful execution of the financial business plan, overseeing all talent development, training and facility maintenance objectives. Ensures compliance, bottom line profit margin, succession planning, best practice execution, referral development and talent management to build a highly efficient and profitable Practice. Ensures all USOSM’s standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESAchieves Practice financial objectives for revenue, expenses and profit performance, within assigned Practice(s) and assists with developing and driving respective growth budgets via support of Marketing initiativesEnsures the maintenance of fiscal reporting procedures within the Practice are in full compliance with established company policies including but not limited to, Payer Relations, Credentialing, Revenue Cycle Management, Accounts Receivables / Payables, and Inventory ManagementDrives outstanding Patient care, Practice efficiency and productivity through ad hoc projects and all company Business essentials including but not limited to Strategic Scheduling, Leading Reach, Staging Process, Insurance Verification, Treatment and PlanningEnsures effective communication with Surgeons on key performance metrics including leading and lagging indicators of the Practice’s financial performance as well as the process needs of the PracticeLeads the execution of all performance management processes for non-clinical and clinical employees in the Practice to include rewards and recognition, fostering positive morale, conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures, up to and including termination of employmentSupervises all Practice non-clinical and clinical employees while promoting a positive working environment that is aligned with the company’s POWER values and in conjunction with the Practice’s vision and missionHolds accountability for staffing strategy and labor management, aligning team resources with surgeon operating schedules to support operational performance and fiscal responsibility.Ensures appropriate staffing coverage for the Practice, training new and existing employees in all processes, policies and procedures and oversees all aspects of employee timekeeping including over time management.Assess talent at all levels within the Practice, provide ongoing coaching, training and feedback to develop the best talent in the industryManages all appropriate level of supplies to budget, instruments and equipment; verifies all treatment rooms are fully stocked and contain proper equipment to ensure an outstanding Patient experienceOversees and maintains licensure requirements for Doctors and Surgical Assistants to ensure all clinical employees complete all required yearly continuing education hours to maintain licensure requirementsLeads all aspects of compliance including Federal and State law, OSHA, HIPPA, Nitrous, I-9 Verification, Anti-Harassment as well as maintains a high level of confidentiality with extremely sensitive informationPerforms other related duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSOutstanding verbal and written communication and collaboration skills with Surgeons and or Medical DoctorsThinks and acts strategically while driving a high level of accountability to direct reportsLeads with Integrity and Respect while effectively managing the performance of her / his teamManages performance for all Practice(s) assigned through influence and direct report relationshipsApplies a Growth Mindset in all aspects of day-to-day responsibilitiesEstablishes a track record of delivering measurable results and making sound business decisionsProven ability to create a high performing teamExcellent Patient / Customer Service and multi-tasking skillsAbility to work through projects and drive out efficienciesHigh experience in metric and key performance indicators that create 8%+ in compounded annual growthStrong attention to details and high level of accuracy while maintaining short deadlinesWell experienced in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and WordPrevious Experience/Education:Associate degree preferred or related years of professional leadership working experience2+ years of operational leadership experience, experience within the dental and or healthcare industry is preferredWork Environment/ Physical Demands:Working conditions are normal for an office environmentFrequent use of hands to manipulate the keyboard, telephone, files and other equipmentAbility to lift up to 10 poundsABOUT US ORAL SURGERY MANAGEMENTBy joining US Oral Surgery Management (USOSM), you become part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization made up of best-in-class Oral and Maxillofacial practices.
