Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care within the Labor & Delivery department. The role requires utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, as well as supervising and documenting teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication with the healthcare team is essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working every weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; BLS certification; at least 2 years of recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience; NRP certification; Epic experience; OBIX experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information: Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications specified and will be approved for up to one week of requested time off at the start of employment.
