Senior Procurement Specialist
Virtual Vocations Inc
To enhance procurement strategies, the contract Senior Procurement Specialist will develop category management plans, lead cross-functional teams, and provide analytical reports on supplier performance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement category management plans and sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and performance targets
Establish and lead cross-functional teams to define business requirements and execute supplier initiatives
Manage strategic procurement engagement with key business units and support RFx efforts through supplier selection processes
Required qualifications
8+ years of experience in a Procurement/Sourcing function
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
Experience with eSourcing tools and spend analytics tools, including proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
Extensive negotiation and contract management experience
Ability to lead complex sourcing events such as RFP, RFI, and RFQ
