Overview Member Frontline Services Associate – responsible for providing customer service, processing sales transactions, handling member inquiries, and maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment at Sam’s Club. Responsibilities Provide member service and support for the checkout area, including processing purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies. Guide members on self‑service technology and promote Sam’s Club products and services. Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, and assist members with locating merchandise and making purchasing decisions. Execute safety and security procedures, conduct safety sweeps, report unsafe situations, and respond to emergencies. Arrange, zone, and organize merchandise to ensure a safe shopping environment and identify shrink and damages. Maintain required documentation, logs, and paperwork; ensure compliance with company security and safety practices. Assist in training Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technologies, and program rollouts. Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and identify improvement opportunities. Demonstrate integrity, respect for individuals, and a commitment to customer service and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and working with mobile retail applications. Preferred: Experience in a high‑traffic retail environment and familiarity with Sam’s Club operations.
