Interventional Radiology Technician
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day 4x10-Hour shift (07:00 - 17:30).
The Interventional Radiology Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various interventional procedures. The role requires floating between facilities as needed to ensure patient care and departmental needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Assist during catheterizations and applications of cardiac devices.
- Maintain sterile fields and adhere to infection control policies.
- Ensure proper equipment setup and operation during procedures.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 18 months of experience in Interventional Radiology; 2 years preferred.
- ARRT certification and Florida state license required.
- AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
- RCIS certification is preferred but not required.
