Registered Nurse - Neurology Practice

Location: Washington State

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 5x8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Description: Join our dynamic outpatient neurology practice focused on treating a variety of neurological illnesses, such as TBI, stroke, CVA, and substance abuse. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in this role, you will be essential in providing compassionate care and ensuring patient safety and continuity across assigned providers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Epic nurse in-boxes and work queues.
• Triage and respond to patient phone calls and MyChart messages.
• Process medication refill requests and route for provider signature as needed.
• Manage and coordinate lab and imaging orders and results.
• Support high acuity neurology patients, including infusion related coordination (e.g., Leqembi).
• Transcribe and document voicemail messages into Epic.
• Process inbound clinical faxes requiring provider review or signature.
• Abstract and enter labs (e.g., Invitae / GeneDx genetic testing).
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Perform other duties as within the scope of a Registered Nurse.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess a valid RN license (WA or Compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in a nursing role is required.
• First-timers are accepted.
