This role ensures shipments are properly loaded and orders are ready for next-day billing, while maintaining accurate and organized payment records.Input Data - Enters data into the computer system, generates invoices, and freight payable documents.Shipment Data - Inputs product shipment data into the system.Bills and Documents - Prepares bills of lading and export documents.What We're SeekingEducation: High school diploma or GED required.Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, and experience using a 10-key adding machine.Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings.Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively while being respectful, approachable, and team-oriented, contributing to a positive work environment.Other Skills That Make You Stand Out2 years' previous billing experience, a plus.SAP experience, preferred.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe majority of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant. The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision includes close vision and ability to adjust focus.Frequently required to sit, use hands to handle, or feel, and talk or hear.Smithfield is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity.
