Job Description Pay range: $130,000-145,000 (depending on years of exp.) Directions for Living, a large non‑profit social service mental health organization, seeks caring, compassionate, mission‑driven Psych APRNs (or APRNs in the process of obtaining their Psych certification) who possess excellent clinical, psychiatric, medical, and administrative skills. This is a responsible position requiring clinical, psychiatric, medical, and administrative duties. The Psychiatric APRN will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to adult and youth clients with behavioral health issues. The role involves collaborating with the Medical Director, other providers, and clinicians to perform client assessments, formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, interpret results, provide patient education, and document all activities via the electronic health records system in accordance with statutes, regulations, and professional protocols. The APRN will be supervised by a Medical Director (Psychiatrist) under a Collaborative Practice Agreement established upon hire. The APRN will also coordinate client care with a Medical Assistant. Psychiatric APRNs are required to consistently meet the minimum client‑facing and billable hours per month. Education / Experience / Requirements: Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse / PMHNP with required certification. Florida Nursing License. M.S. in Nursing. Valid/current DEA Number. Computer literacy and proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word; ability to work proficiently in a Windows environment and quickly learn other software applications. Ability to use telehealth platforms for service delivery, team supervision, and individual supervision as needed. Competence in using electronic health records. EOE/ADA/DFW.
