Occupational Therapy Director

Schedule: 8 hour shifts; 40 hours per week; may include every other Saturday.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• State occupational therapy license
• Experience in occupational therapy management
• Familiarity with clinical education and competency processes

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the clinical education and competency process for Occupational Therapy staff, including supervision of certified Occupational Therapy assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and professional standards.
• Manage the Occupational Therapy policy and procedure manual addressing scope of care, evaluation/treatment standards, discharge planning, and documentation.
• Evaluate and treat patients approximately 80% of the time; assist with program development and administrative tasks the remaining 20% of the time.

Compliance / Notes:

• Overtime policy: Rates for hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week will be at the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr.
• Housing can be somewhat difficult to find; credentialing should be submitted in one batch.
• Additional compliance notes to be provided by the facility.
