Associate Professor or Professor, based on experience

Our organization is collaborating with a leading hospital to recruit a mid-to-senior level board-certified Urologist to oversee the Iris Cantor Men’s Health Center located within the Department of Urology on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

The perfect candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise in Men’s Health and will lead a team of fellowship-trained urologists who focus on areas such as prostate health, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), voiding dysfunction, infertility, sexual medicine, and survivorship in prostate cancer, among other related diagnoses.

Position Overview:

• In collaboration with the Chair of the WCM Department of Urology, work alongside leadership and administrative teams to enhance the Iris Cantor Men’s Health Center, focusing on academic and clinical productivity, operational efficiency, and patient accessibility.

• Promote clinical research and seek grant funding opportunities within the Iris Cantor Men’s Health Center.

• Establish a unified, multidisciplinary Men’s Health Program, broadening the range of services and procedures available.

• Contribute significantly to the Department of Urology’s mission of delivering personalized, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients.

• Demonstrate a commitment to innovation and discovery.

• Lead initiatives in clinical and basic science research through our extensive research program.

• Foster leadership development through various departmental and institutional programs.

• Devote efforts to educating the next generation of diverse leaders in urologic care.

• Be a collaborative team member and leader, dedicated to enhancing urological care for our patients.

• Work closely with colleagues in primary care and internal medicine, particularly regarding endocrine and cardiovascular health in male patients.

• Engage in departmental mentorship, educational activities, conferences, and training for residents and fellows.

• Serve a diverse patient population while building strong relationships with support staff, administration, and faculty.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical Degree

• Board certification in Urology

• Valid New York State Medical License and DEA registration

• Exceptional communication skills and bedside manner

Salary Range:

$374,687 - $525,045
