Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (ER) Located in Golden, Colorado. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health education and counseling. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions according to accepted standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care; evaluates health status through ongoing data collection and assessment.
• Performs health teaching and health counseling to patients.
• Provides therapy and treatment that supports and restores life and well-being either directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others.
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
• Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Uses resources as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization, adhering to service behavior standards.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs.
• May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
• Schedule: 12-hour nights 1900-0730, with weekend shifts included, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), current Single State or Compact Registered Nurse License, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, 0+ years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing, previous experience as a Registered Nurse, additional certifications as appropriate for the unit or service.
• Additional Information: The position may involve floating to other departments within the scope of competency; on-call duty may be required during scheduled shifts.
