Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research is looking to add additional talent to our Network Services Team. In this position you will manage all company networks to ensure the security of all information. Additionally, you will design and implement new preventative solutions to network issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversees network infrastructure and security Monitors network activity and configures network systems Maintains and controls computer networks related to configurations, hardware, program software, and structures software Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves software, hardware, and network issues Lays out the design and implementation of new solutions Protects data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications Configures firewalls and other network precautions Performs disaster recovery operations and record backups in the event of an emergency Provides support to all users to resolve network issues Keeps current with technology trends and changes related to position Performs other duties and tasks as assigned Qualifications and Skills US Citizenship is strictly required for national defense and aerospace compliance Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields required 3-5 years of network security experience preferred Experience working with LAN and WAN preferred Experience with VM Ware and Microsoft 365 preferred Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation or design and plan network communication systems Understanding of diverse computer systems and networks including virtual servers, Microsoft operating systems, and terminal server environment Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills Ability to work in team environment and is flexible to changing demands Ability to stand, sit, or move around for prolonged periods of time Ability to perform repetitive hand motions Benefits Offered 401(k) with a company match Medical Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Life Insurance and AD&DD Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to recruit, hire, train, and promote in all job categories without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or other status protected by applicable law.
