This position creates a comfortable, clean guest environment, contributing to guest satisfaction and the success of the location.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe Common Area Attendant:Clean and maintain assigned interior and exterior common areas.Replenish supplies where needed.Empty trash and maintain public-space cleanliness.Report maintenance needs promptly.Communicate with housekeeping or Front Desk regarding cleaning needs.OTHER FUNCTIONSThe Common Area Attendant may also:Perform other duties as needed to ensure smooth property operations and cleanliness.Assist the housekeeping team as needed.Uses phone to track/monitor room cleans through the location's computer program.Pre and post-storm preparations.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS-Reliable with strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCENo formal education requirements.Experience preferred but not required.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSUnderstanding of cleaning procedures.Basic communication skills.Excellent customer services skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs.Ability to push/pull carts and equipment.WORK ENVIRONMENTIndoor/outdoor work in various weather conditions.Weekend and holiday availability required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Latour Hotels & Resorts, Inc.
