All tools and PPE are provided./ppstrong*WILL BE TESTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW FOR QUALITY AND EFFICIENCY*/strong/ppstrongStarting Pay Range: $26 - $32 (Depending on Experience)/strong/ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliExecute complex pipe welding projects according to industry standards and specifications./liliMaintain a strong safety record by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations./liliUtilize GMAW SMAW downhill welding effectively and efficiently./liliUtilize an oxygen acetylene torch effectively and efficiently/liliRead and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan and execute welding tasks./liliInspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications./liliUse of a weld positioner/turntable/liliInspect material for defects, and check material specifications to record traceability requirements./liliProvide guidance and support to junior welders and apprentices./liliContribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the welding team./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in pipe fitting welding./liliProven experience in both GMAW and SMAW welding./liliProficiency in a 12 Butt Branch weld test is preferred./liliProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics./liliStrong understanding of welding codes and standards./liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team./liliExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills./liliValid certifications (e.g., API 1104, and ASME) are a plus./liliAgree to pre-employment and random drug screen and/or alcohol test as required by DOT/li/ulpEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
