Registered Nurse, Zzz Acute Care – Geneva, NY. Start date: 07/06/2026. Length: 14 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,901 to $2,017 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 3x12-hour rotating with day/night coverage, weekend and holiday rotation, plus two on-call shifts every four weeks. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital with an Emergency Department focus. Travel assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing critical thinking to triage and manage urgent and emergent conditions.
- Conduct primary and secondary assessments, identify care priorities, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate care, provide patient and family education, and ensure safe transitions to next care steps.
- Apply infection prevention practices, maintain patient safety, and support a healing environment during ED encounters.
- Reassess patients regularly, adjust care plans as condition changes, and communicate updates to patients, families, and team members.

Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; Stroke Certification (must be through AHA or RQI)
- Minimum two years of acute hospital RN experience; at least one year of ED RN experience
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ED setting with rotating day/night shifts and on-call requirements
