Responsibilities


As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

• Lead the end-to-end management of data centre projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, while identifying and mitigating risks.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, construction, and operations, to ensure alignment and project success.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and adherence to project requirements.
• Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, prepare detailed reports, and provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in data centre construction and operations.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.

Qualifications


To excel in this role, you should have:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, with a strong focus on data centre or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• A track record of successfully managing budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to data centre construction and operations.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification (preferred).

Day-to-Day


In this role, your typical day may include:

• Conducting project kick-off meetings and aligning teams on objectives and deliverables.
• Reviewing and updating project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Coordinating with design and engineering teams to address technical challenges.
• Leading progress meetings with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
