Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department with approximately 68,000 annual visits
• Deliver nursing care across 5 pods and 49 beds, maintaining a maximum patient ratio of 4:1
• Manage and treat a diverse patient population including pediatric, trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within a Level II Trauma Center, Joint Commission Accredited STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Receiving Center environment

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher, including exposure to Pediatrics, Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
