What You'll Do As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will support and oversee repair within the Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs. Job Duties Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools. Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities. Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by performing work according to the Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines. Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently. Minimum Qualifications 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance. Large Scale Rack Refrigeration experience. Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling. Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report. 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent. Option 1: 10 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration. Option 2: 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration. Universal EPA Certification. Preferred Qualifications Completion of a 2‑year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or 2‑year associate’s of applied science A/C and refrigeration. Excellent driving record. Prior work experience with glycol and CO 2 systems. Primary Location 2010 Village Center Dr, TARENTUM, PA 15084‑3850, United States of America Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 – $51.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
