Quality Assurance Inspector - 2nd Shift

We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector who takes pride in precision, problem-solving, and ensuring every part meets the highest standards.As our Quality Assurance Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring products meet customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements through inspection, measurement, and documentation activities.Someone with quality inspection experience who enjoys working on the production floor, using precision measuring equipment, reviewing drawings, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. This is an inspector-level position and is not an engineering or senior-level quality role.Manage and maintain the gage calibration systemPerform first-piece, in-process, and final inspectionsUse precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gages, and related inspection equipmentRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing routersIdentify and communicate quality concerns, nonconforming materials, and process issuesComplete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and maintain accurate quality documentationSupport customer audits and interact professionally with customer representativesAssist with troubleshooting quality-related issues and continuous improvement effortsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED1-3 years of quality inspection experienceExperience managing and maintaining calibration systemsStrong blueprint reading and interpretation skillsProficiency using inspection and measuring equipmentStrong math skills and attention to detailBasic computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to meet vision requirements and work safely in a manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsAerospace manufacturing experienceCMM experienceAssociate degree in a related fieldAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and work on concrete flooring throughout the shiftAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds independentlyAbility to perform inspections requiring close visual attention and accurate measurementsRBC AeroStructures is experiencing continued growth across our aerospace and defense programs, creating new opportunities for skilled professionals to join our team.
