Seasonal Inventory Specialist - Nationwide Travel

Employer Industry: Healthcare Supply Chain Management Why consider this job opportunity Salary up to $18.00 per hour Extensive travel opportunities across the U.S. to various hospitals Gain valuable experience in inventory management within the healthcare sector Collaborative work environment with diverse teams Opportunity to develop skills in using technology for inventory data capture Seasonal temporary position with potential for future opportunities What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Accurately capture inventory count data in the HITS program using Excel or paper count sheets Perform inventory counts, ensuring all items are accounted for and reported according to established policies Assemble, disassemble, and adjust inventory storage racks, carts, and shelving for supplies Organize and stock inventory shelving as directed by supervisors and hospital staff teams Communicate daily with the Team Leader to troubleshoot challenges and report discrepancies in inventory What is Required (Qualifications) High school education, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be able to meet required standards to work within a hospital, including background check and drug test State Issued Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred, along with reliable transportation Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports Acute attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as with teams How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Medical and/or pharmaceutical product knowledge 1 year of inventory count or supply chain experience is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr GHX
