MECHANICAL SUPERINTENDENT

HM Staffing has an immediate need for a Mechanical Superintendent .

The ideal candidate will have extensive field experience and a proven track record of successfully managing similar projects. This role requires excellent planning, scheduling, and management skills to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do:

Project Planning and Scheduling

• Assist in building project plans, including timelines, resource allocation and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to establish project requirements and timelines.
• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in project scope or unforeseen delays.

Field Management

• Oversee daily field operations to ensure work is progressing according to plan.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
• Address any issues or concerns promptly to minimize disruptions and delays.

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage a team of field workers, providing clear instructions and guidance.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan for upcoming tasks.

Quality Control

• Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and meets client expectations.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures and best practices.
• Conduct final inspections and ensure any deficiencies are corrected before project completion.

Client Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
• Address client concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Safety Compliance

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations.
• Conduct safety meetings and trainings to promote a culture of safety on site.
• Respond to and investigate any safety incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.

What You Bring:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably with mechanical emphasis.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background for healthcare, federal project clearance, etc.
