The Role (A Collaborative Math Department): We are currently expanding our Mathematics department and are looking to hire   a dedicated Math Educator for the upcoming academic year.

Whether your expertise is building a strong foundation for younger students in Algebra and Geometry, or prepping upperclassmen for college through Statistics and Calculus, we want to talk to you.

What You Will Teach (Depending on your specialty):

• Foundational Track: Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry.

• Advanced Track: Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics.

The Boarding School Lifestyle (Beyond the Classroom): Working at Besant Hill is not a standard 8-to-3 teaching job; it is a lifestyle. As a full-time residential faculty member, you will be deeply integrated into our students' daily lives. Your contractual duties will include:

• Residential Life: Serving as a dorm parent, providing evening and weekend supervision on a rotating schedule.

• Athletics & Coaching: Leading or assisting with an after-school sport or athletic program.

• Outdoor Education: Participating in and leading student outdoor education trips and experiential learning opportunities.

What We Are Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Proven experience teaching high school-level mathematics.

• A versatile, highly collaborative team player who is excited to co-design a curriculum with fellow faculty.

• A genuine passion for the boarding school environment and a willingness to mentor students in the dorms, on the field, and in the great outdoors.
