Principal Test Engineer

A Day in the Life at MKS: As a Test Engineer at MKS Andover, you will partner with R&D, Engineering, Product management, Applications, and customers to develop and support vacuum valves. You Will Make an Impact By: In this role, you will make a meaningful impact by contributing to the design and development of advanced products for Semiconductor Fabrication Equipment. Design and Build test equipment for vacuum valves. Design, execute and document performance and life tests Specify requirements for clean room facilities Specify requirements for high purity cleaning equipment Design, specify, and execute test methods for particle metrology Skills You Bring: Knowledge and experience of high purity vacuum systems Knowledge and experience with particle metrology for semiconductor processing equipment Knowledge and experience of product testing in an R&D environment BS Engineering Degree or equivalent 8+ years experience, preferably with Semiconductor Equipment System Design and integration skills involving mechanical, pneumatic, controls, and Labview Preferred Skills: Experience Semiconductor manufacturing equipment Experience with valves for high vacuum equipment Experience with on wafer particle metrology Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 20 lbs. Compensation and Benefits: Salary Pay Range: $ Total Base Pay Range 109,750.00 - 182,900.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
