* FILLED* Pediatric Anesthesiologist — Florida

We’re seeking Board-Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologists to join Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville to work in partnership with Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Both Nemours Children’s Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital in collaboration with Nemours Children’s Health are nationally ranked in 2024-25 by U.S. News & World Report. Wolfson Children’s is a 280-bed freestanding children’s hospital with Nemours clinic and ambulatory space directly connected via skybridge to the hospital and operating rooms.

The Department of Anesthesiology at Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville serves one of the fastest growing areas in Florida. The current operating room and interventional capacity includes ten inpatient ORs and five ambulatory ORs/GI endoscopy suites, an interventional radiology suite, and a cardiac catheterization suite. Anesthesia also provides care in three MRIs and in the hematology/oncology clinic. To keep pace with rapidly expanding case volumes, there is also expansion into off-campus ambulatory surgery centers.

The practice provides care to a diverse pediatric population undergoing a wide range of procedures. The team provides anesthesia to approximately 15,000 children per year with teaching responsibilities to anesthesia residents from Mayo Clinic and other anesthesiology residency programs.

Current expansion in education, research, and program development offers potential for interested candidates. Physicians are encouraged to apply for an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine in Jacksonville.
