We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cashier/Billing professional to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will handle customer payouts with accuracy and integrity, ensuring all transactions are correctly processed. This role involves working independently in a fast-paced environment, primarily using a manual register, and requires standing for most of the shift. Trust and attention to detail are paramount, and candidates must successfully pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions and payouts accurately
- Verify sales and transaction accuracy
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers regarding transaction issues
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions
- Stand for the majority of each shift
- Operate a manual register
- Maintain composure and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- Undergo background verification to ensure trustworthiness
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience handling cash transactions
- Three references related to money handling experience
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and basic math proficiency
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated trustworthiness in previous roles
