Job Summary

W e are seeking an experienced Assembler to support the assembly, maintenance, inspection, and repair of oilfield equipment to meet operational demands. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment is assembled, maintained, tested, and delivered on time while supporting asset reliability, equipment performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Job Description

  • Assemble, inspect, maintain, and repair oilfield equipment according to established maintenance procedures and operational requirements.
  • Ensure assigned equipment is maintained in accordance with reliability-centered maintenance strategies and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, and repairs to ensure equipment is operational and ready for deployment.
  • Utilize specialized tools and testing equipment to perform maintenance and assembly tasks.
  • Complete maintenance activities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and SAP.
  • Accurately document work orders, labor, parts usage, equipment movement, and maintenance history.
  • Maintain compliance with Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) standards and maintenance procedures.
  • Support planned maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing equipment downtime and improving maintenance efficiency.
  • Assist with planned repair and reuse programs to reduce overall cost of service delivery.
  • Support failure investigations and corrective action activities as assigned.
  • Contribute to improving asset turnaround time and overall maintenance productivity.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with maintenance standards, quality expectations, and operational procedures.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment assembly, maintenance, or mechanical repair within the oil and gas, industrial, or related industry.
  • Strong experience working with pressure control equipment and mechanical assemblies.
  • Strong knowledge of Blowout Preventers (BOPs).
  • Experience with valves and chokes.
  • Proficiency using SAP for maintenance documentation and work order management.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and equipment specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

 

Education

  • Requi red:  High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical degree, associate degree, or bachelor's degree preferred.

 

Additional requirements

  • S hift: M-F, 7AM-6PM with slight variation in hours depending on business demand for the day/week
  • Preferred certificatio ns:  Forklift Certification, Crane Certification, H2S Certification, HSE/Safety Certifications

 

Pay rate

  • $26 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
