Job Title: Obstetrics Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Obstetrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Must have delivery room experience and previous MedSurg experience. License: Active RN License Certifications: Fetal Monitoring, NRP, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 1 OB RN needed for night shifts. Must have delivery room experience, including receiving babies. If the census is low, the healthcare provider will be floated to MedSurg. Previous MedSurg experience is required since they may take patients on occasion. EMR used is Cerner. Scrubs can be any color. Description: 1 OB RN is needed for night shifts. Certifications required are fetal monitoring, NRP, BLS, and ACLS. There is no on-call requirement; it is a routine scheduled shift. Delivery room experience is necessary. Healthcare providers will float to MedSurg if the census is low. Previous MedSurg experience is a must, as they may need to take patients. The EMR system in use is Cerner. Scrubs may be any color.
