Physical Therapist - Orthopedic Sports Medicine

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist with outpatient experience in orthopedic sports medicine for a contract position. The role focuses on providing post-operative care and rehabilitation to patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapy interventions for post-operative orthopedic patients
• Manage a caseload of 12-14 patients per day, with a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week
• Double-book follow-up visits as needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress notes

Schedule

This is an 8-hour day shift position, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and the expectation to occasionally work up to 40 hours. Overtime must be pre-approved by the director.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous outpatient experience is preferred
