Job Description:

Security Clearance:

• Secret

Education/ Certification Mandatory:

• Master's Degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Logistics Management, Statistics, or equivalent relevant field.

Work Experience Mandatory:

Minimum 5-6 years in the following:

• Military wholesale and retail logistics activities in Reparable/Consumable support.
• Management of Ground Equipment Secondary Items.
• Leading strategic process re-engineering and development efforts.
• Performance-management frameworks for evaluating effectiveness of products and services.
• Supply-chain business processes and architecture.
• Training affected employees, developing curriculum/materials, and classroom instruction, including training to launch re-engineered processes.

Required capabilities:

• Analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and apply solutions.
  Plan and organize work to successfully perform complex tasks.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently, in writing and orally, with personnel at various status and rank.
• Apply administrative processes and documentation requirements to logistics program execution and sustainment.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Analyze supply-chain processes and architecture and recommend strategic-level courses of action for improvement.
• Provide change-management support to the Government customer.
• Apply laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to logistics planning and program execution/sustainment.
• Develop recommendations for changes to Marine Corps policy.
• Develop briefings, documents, and communications related to Strategic Logistics Services for executive or senior-management staff.
• Facilitate meetings/conferences for strategic initiatives and improvements, and prepare trip reports when directed.
• Apply detailed Logistics Command planning/execution knowledge in Strategic Planning, Metrics Management, Demand Forecasting, Allowance Setting, Backorder Management, and GCSS-MC functionality/integration.
• Perform additional duties typical of or related to the Functional Analyst role.
