Amedisys Home Health Care - Walterboro
Occupational Therapist
This position involves providing therapy in home health settings. Candidates will conduct home visits and engage in periodic office meetings. Average caseload will consist of 5-10 patients per day. Patient-related visits and associated tasks will reflect a point system for productivity. Contractors are expected to manage between 30 points of productivity per week. Traveling to patients' homes will be required, with the possibility of driving up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage will be reimbursed at the standard IRS rate. Candidates must complete all documentation within 24 hours of patient appointments. No guaranteed hours are provided, and performance is crucial. Communication regarding any patient cancellations or scheduling conflicts is essential.
Minimum 1 full year of adult home health experience. Must have a valid license. Certifications: CPR, BLS. Must-have: Reliable transportation, current driver's license, liability insurance.
