Role Description

We are seeking a Masonry Tender to support our team on various stonework and masonry projects. This full-time position is an on-site role located in Northern Black Hills of SD. Key responsibilities include preparing materials, assisting masons with daily tasks, mixing mortar, transporting materials, maintenance of tools and equipment, and ensuring the site is clean and organized for efficient workflow. The Masonry Tender will collaborate closely with the team to maintain quality craftsmanship and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.

 

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Masonry, Stonework, and Brickwork, with a strong understanding of construction techniques.
• Experience in mortar preparation, handling, and application practices.
• Knowledge in Renovation and restoration projects involving masonry and stone structures.
• Ability to lift and transport heavy materials, with adherence to safety protocols at job sites.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Familiarity with construction equipment and tools is a plus.
• Prior experience in masonry or related construction fields is desirable.
• Willing to train right candidates
