Onsite IT Technician

Salary: $40,000 - 40,000 per year Requirements:

• Proven background in IT support, with strong desktop support and troubleshooting capabilities
• Good grasp of networking fundamentals, including LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP, DNS administration, VPNs, firewalls, and network security practices
• Practical experience with Windows, including Windows Server, macOS, iOS, and Android
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, GPO setup, and computer management utilities
• Knowledge of hardware diagnosis and equipment upkeep
• Clear communication skills and strong customer service abilities when working with users at all levels
• Experience using help desk platforms such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for ticket handling and issue resolution
• Strong analytical ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCITP are preferred but not mandatory

• Provide onsite technical assistance for hardware and software problems, resolving equipment and application issues promptly
• Use help desk and ticketing tools to log, prioritize, monitor, and close user requests efficiently
• Support networking activities, including troubleshooting, LAN management, DNS, TCP/IP, VOIP, VPN, firewall setup, and network administration
• Assist with user account administration, including account creation, access permissions, and GPO configuration to maintain secure controls
• Deliver hardware support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, IP phones, and other peripherals
• Help maintain IT systems by supporting Windows, including Windows Server, Android, iOS, and Microsoft Office applications
