Staff Accountant
Synectics
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ensure timely payment collections and disbursements
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Perform account reconciliations and journal entries
- Handle ad-hoc reporting and special projects
- 3+ years of related work experience in an accounting setting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business management preferred
- Four years of financial or accounts receivable work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Ability to develop macros and automate repetitive tasks is a plus
