Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,425 per week

Job Description Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist – Cathedral City, California. 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts, days, evenings, nights). No travel expected. Start date ASAP. Pay $2,388.00 – $2,461.00 per week. Responsibilities Implement patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength. Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs. Use the Electronic Medical Record to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries. Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow‑up. Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care. Communicate with physicians and other professionals to ensure quality patient care. Correspond with co‑workers and other offices via phone, fax, and email. Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations. Ensure patients are comfortable and answer questions as needed. Work closely with front office staff regarding scheduling and patient follow‑up. Use computer skills (typing, Word, internet, EMR) to complete job requirements. Make independent decisions regarding patient care. Qualifications Degree in Physical Therapy. One year of outpatient physical therapy experience. Active PT license in the state of assignment (or plan to obtain). PT‑CA certification (or equivalent). BLS‑AHA certification (copy required). Continuing education courses required.
