Travel Electrophysiology Technologist in Paterson, NJ

Schedule/Hours:

• 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• 5x8 hour or 4x10 hour shifts
• Weekends and holidays as needed
• On-call responsibilities required

Required Experience & Skills:

• Prior cath lab and EP experience essential
• Proficiency in electrophysiology intra-procedure mapping, ablation, and implantable device support
• Mastery of sterile scrub techniques
• Ability to recognize and interpret all cardiac arrhythmias

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures, including pacing and circulatory support devices
• Prepare equipment and sterile trays for each procedure
• Support patient monitoring and accurate pressure data collection throughout procedures
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain hemodynamic monitoring and digital cine technologies
• Manage vascular access, sheath removal, and hemostasis, including radial access site management
• Ensure equipment readiness, inventory control, and adherence to Cardiovascular Information System standards
• Participate in call rotation, responding to emergent needs per facility policy
• Support safe operation and routine evaluation of specialized imaging and EP equipment
