Position Summary

We are searching for a dependable Senior Machine Operator to support daily production operations at a manufacturing facility in Huntersville, NC. This organization is a global leader in the manufacturing of advanced textile reinforcement products, serving a wide range of industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and perform routine maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Partner with engineering, quality assurance, and production staff to address challenges and drive improvements.
• Follow established standard operating procedures and contribute to their ongoing development.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.
• Provide training and technical guidance to junior operators without direct supervisory duties.
• Accurately record production, quality, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-3 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing in textile environment preferred
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Attention to detail, process adherence, and quality control.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., bend, stoop, and reach.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Team-oriented with a solid work ethic and communication skills.
• A minimum of 3 consecutive years of experience at the same employer, demonstrating stability and long-term contribution.

Employment Type & Compensation

• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
• Compensation: $25.50 - $26.00 depending on shift
• Application Period: This position will remain open until filled

Work Schedule

• 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM-10:00 PM
• 3rd Shift | Sunday-Thursday | 10:00 PM -6:00 AM
