How You'll Contribute Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Performs prior authorizations for procedures. Enters nursing requests subject to the approval of a licensed nurse. Asks for clarification when necessary. Assembles and maintains patient records and charts. Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, filing, and ordering/stocking supplies. What We're Looking For Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Associate degree Preferred Experience: 6 months of administrative/clerical, medical background preferred License: N/A Certifications: CPC required Saint Mary's Regional Health System offers community focused healthcare services in Russellville; AR.
