Surgical Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Perm candidates of any other providence facility (non-Swedish) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license. 2 year experience. Unit does not accept first-time travelers. Floating required to like units - travelers must be flexible to floating. Every other weekend required. Experience: Must have surgical tele experience, open heart surgery and vascular, (groin) radial band management, IV skills, NIH 2-3 years telemetry experience; optional- VAD, TAVR experience. Certs required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Epic experience is a hard stop requirement. Surgical cardiac telemetry unit, myocardial infarction, rule out MI, primary arrhythmias, pre/post open-heart surgery patients, vascular surgery patients, coronary artery disease, heart failure, pre/post cath lab with or without interventions, stroke patients with cardiac involvement; specialized structural heart support (VAD, TAVR, etc). Note: N:P ratio is 1:4 across the board (can be 5 at midnight). Breathing treatments, chest tube set-up/care, CPAP/BiPap, trache care, blood/blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, epicardial pacer management, LVAD, open heart 24-28 hours post-op tele interpretation - dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
