Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. In this dynamic role, you'll work within a 23-bed neuro medical-surgical unit primarily focusing on high acuity rehab with spinal cord and traumatic brain injury patients. Key responsibilities of the RN – Med Surg – Travel include:

• Provide care to patients with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries
• Manage trach care and respiratory equipment such as ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP machines
• Perform IV therapy and manage central lines
• Conduct wound care and administer nutritional support via G-tube/Peg-tube
• Coordinate care for pulmonary patients with trachs and other rehabilitation needs

Requirements of the RN – Med Surg – Travel include:

• Active RN license
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
• Experience in trach care, ventilation, and high acuity rehab settings
