You'll be designing and engineering the Azure infrastructure and Azure Virtual Desktop environments that thousands of employees depend on — across a complex, global footprint. You'll have a seat at the table for architecture decisions, not just implementation. Job Details We're looking for an Azure Infrastructure & Virtual Desktop Engineer with 7+ years of experience who can own both the cloud infrastructure layer and the AVD environment end-to-end. Here's what that actually means: Deep Azure chops — compute, storage, networking, the whole stack. VNets, NSGs, Firewall, ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints — you know why each one exists and when to use it. AVD from the ground up — host pools, FSLogix, golden images, autoscaling, cost optimization, and the troubleshooting that comes with all of it. IaC fluency — Bicep, ARM, Terraform, or similar. PowerShell and Azure CLI are second nature. A DR/BC mindset baked in — you design for the recovery scenario, not just the happy path. Security-conscious — Zero Trust isn't a buzzword to you; it's a design constraint. AI-first — you're actively using AI to improve how you operate, troubleshoot, and deploy. Azure certifications (Architect Expert, Administrator, AVD Specialty, Networking) are a plus — not a requirement if the hands-on experience is there.
