Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Orangeburg, NY

Type: Contract

Compensation: $21-$23/hour (Plus shift differential)

Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Hours: Monday-Friday; 1st

shift 6:00am-2:30pm/

7:00am-3:30pmor 2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm/

3:00pm-11:30pm

Responsibilities

• Maintain all production areas in a clean and orderly manner, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Perform repairs and maintenance of facilities, wells, production equipment, and safety equipment.
• Ensure continuous operation of production platforms.
• Maintain accurate production reports, test safety and environmental equipment, and document all activities accordingly.
• Possess basic machinery/system troubleshooting skills and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.
• Apply planning and scheduling techniques related to asset care management.
• Maintain production standards and targets, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Create forms, reports, logs, and records of equipment and batch production with accuracy and detail.
• Complete all assigned duties in a safe manner consistent with company safety policies.
• Ensure quality standards are met and production pace is maintained.
• Work environment provided with gloves and goggles.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working on a production line
• Experience working in a GMP/SOP environment
• Ability to perform repairs and extensive maintenance tasks
• Basic machinery and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of safety and environmental testing procedures
• Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities

You should be proficient in:

• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Machine Safety Inspections
• High School / GED
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
