\nMonday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM\n
\nFriday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM Clinical / 12:00 PM-5:00 PM Administrative Time\n
\nLunch break provided\n
\nCall Requirement: Rotating one-week phone-only call coverage\n
\nDedicated administrative time each Friday afternoon\n
\n
\nClinical Responsibilities\n
\nProvide comprehensive primary care services\n
\nPerform medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning\n
\nObtain medical histories and perform physical examinations\n
\nManage acute and chronic medical conditions\n
\nPrescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines\n
\nOrder, interpret, and follow up on laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies\n
\nDeliver preventive care, health education, and patient counseling\n
\nCoordinate referrals and specialty care as needed\n
\nCollaborate with care coordinators, behavioral health providers, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members\n
\nMaintain accurate and timely EMR documentation\n
\nParticipate in quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives\n
\nParticipate in peer review, clinical meetings, and case consultations\n
\nSupport continuity of care through follow-up and care coordination\n
\n
\nRequirements\n
\nMD or DO from an accredited medical school\n
\nCompletion of an accredited residency program\n
\nActive, unrestricted North Carolina medical license\n
\nBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine\n
\nCurrent DEA registration or eligibility to obtain\n
\nCurrent BLS Certification\n
\nStrong clinical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills\n
\nAbility to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team\n
\nCommitment to patient-centered and culturally responsive care\n
\n
\nPreferred Qualifications\n
\nExperience in an FQHC, community health center, or primary care practice\n
\nOutpatient experience preferred\n
\nExperience serving underserved or medically underserved populations\n
\nExperience with Epic EMR\n
\nParticipation in quality improvement and population health initiatives\n
\nSpanish-speaking ability is a plus\n
\n
